Medvedev says anti-Russian sanction don’t succeed
MOSCOW, Mar 30 (PRIME) -- The Western anti-Russian sanctions have not succeeded yet, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said in his Telegram channel on Wednesday.
“It is clear that the sanctions have not yet achieved their results… There has been no significant result from the blockade of our banks, whose goal, we should put it absolutely clear, was to hurt common Russians badly,” he said.
Medvedev is also sure that a ban on Russia’s energy exports only hurt Western consumers and that the era of regional currencies is coming to replace the U.S. dollar and the euro.
